Finishing

Turn hat right side out and roll up the cuff (brim) approximately 1-1/2″ up at the bottom of the hat.
Attach Pom Pom (see instructions below).

Pom Pom

With Natural, wind the yarn around the cardboard a LOT of times. You’ll need a lot to get a fluffy Pom Pom. Carefully remove the yarn from the cardboard and tie with an 8″ piece of yarn tightly around the middle. If it doesn’t appear that you have enough yarn, remove the 8″piece of yarn and wind more yarn around the cardboard. Once you have enough yarn pieces, tie the 8″ piece of yarn tightly around the middle. Cut all the loops on each side of the Pom Pom. Trim all the ends closely and carefully until you’ve reached the size you like. Attach securely to the top of your hat.
